We have a few rental properties, one of which is a 200 year old Stone building with a stone barn. It was fairly destroyed by a few well meaning but unaware young people who let things go and then the property was in need of some major repairs. I was a bit sceptical at first, because Mike took his time and wanted to get all of the information necessary to give me an accurate quote. (I was very pressed for time and needed work done a.s.a.p.) When the quotes came in and the work started, it didn't take long before all of the issues that needed to be addressed were taken care of. Working with them was easy and we had everything done within a reasonable amount of time. They even took over another contractors job, who had made some promises, but were not able to deliver. I never worried about them, nor did I have to supervise any of their work, as I have had to do with other contractors in the past.

I would recommend Mike and his crew to anyone who is in need of a multitude of any type of repairs, especially on an older home.

Not being a "handyman type of persona" myself, I do have to rely on the skills, and "know how" of others. Choosing the "right" individual to come into your home, and putting trust into their abilities, and work ethics, can be stressful.

A few years ago, five to be precise, I kept your flyer that had been deposited in my mailbox. I knew that eventually I would need to do some repairs, and renovations, in my home. It was just a matter of when. Being that your company was local, I mentioned the flyer at work, and actually one of my colleagues knew you. She recommended you and said you were quite good.

I was not disappointed. My "when" happened at the end of January. I returned home from work, and was informed by my sons of the major leak from the toilet, in the main bathroom. It could not be put off.

I phoned you on the Saturday, and you came within an hour to assess the damage.

You started on the Monday, and stripped the toilet, the floor, etc. and relay the basic floor, new tiles, new toilet, paint, etc. (My shower and tub had been replaced a few years back, so were in good shape.) You arranged for a custom vanity to be built. (Due to the age of my home, over 30 years, prebuilt do not fit.)

It took over a month for the vanity to be completed, and now all is installed, and I have a beautiful new bathroom. Out with the old 70's blue toilet, and sink. In with modern, friendly white pieces, that will complement any future changes.

Thank you for your expertise. Your work was precise, and beautifully done .You respected my home, and my family’s awkward time schedules. My father would have approved, and trust me, the man was a perfectionist! I also believe you would get a "two thumbs up" from the other "Mike", Mike Holmes that is.

Now I rush through my dated kitchen, to find serenity in my peaceful bathroom.
